My wedding photography style has been described as “contemporary yet timeless”. I enjoy working in a more informal and unobtrusive way for much of a wedding, and my Derbyshire clients look for a photographer who can capture the spirit and spontaneity of their day, as well as recording its most important moments.
Alongside my reportage style wedding photographs, I also like to take some classic style images. My goal with these is to create something that encapsulates the beauty and romance of your wedding in a way that will not date, and will keep your memories of the day alive. These images require a little more care, and a little more time and effort, but they are often the ones that my clients cherish the most. Whether you prefer to have more contemporary wedding photographs, or more of the classic style photographs is entirely up to you – this is something that we discuss at a face to face consultation before the wedding. Whatever your preference, you can rely on my decades of experience of wedding photography in Derbyshire to ensure that I will work quickly and efficiently to capture the images that you will treasure for ever.
Because I photograph weddings almost exclusively in Chesterfield and Derbyshire, I am familiar with most of the wedding venues in the area. In these galleries you can see examples from hotels such as Hassop Hall, East Lodge Hotel (Rowsley), Higham Farm Hotel, Ringwood Hall Hotel (Chesterfield), The Sandpiper Hotel (Unstone) and the Hotel Van Dyk (Clowne). Prestigious venues such as Chatsworth House, Cressbrook Hall and Renishaw Hall also feature, as well as locations in Bakewell, Matlock, Ashover, North Wingfield and Pilsley amongst others. And to prove that you don’t have to spend a fortune to have a beautiful wedding photographs, I have included some images from a small Chesterfield Register Office wedding – taken in a nearby location which is freely open to the public.
