The Nikon F3 was one of the company’s most successful professional film cameras, and remained in production for 20 years – including 12 years after its “successor”the F4 was introduced in 1988. The Nikon F3 was a true system camera – available with 5 different viewfinders, 20 focussing screens, interchangeable film backs, motor drives, dedicated flash units and camera cases – as well as hundreds of different lenses as well. Multiple versions of the camera were produced during its lifespan, and its build quality and reliability were legendary and highly valued by professional photographers – and are part of the reason that it is still much sought after by film photographers today.
This particular F3 body has been owned by me for 20 years, having had one previous owner. In the time I have owned it, it has had light use, being kept mainly as a backup camera. It is working absolutely faultlessly, and is in very good cosmetic condition. The only marks on it are on the baseplate – mainly where it has been screwed on and off a tripod and motor drive. The felt light traps in the camera were replaced about 4 years ago.
This F3 body comes with the standard DE-2 eye-level viewfinder, type K focussing screen (matte/Fresnel field with microprism & split-image rangefinder), body cap and instruction manual. I am also including an original Nikon DK-4 rubber eyecup.
It is for sale at £280.00.
The camera is for sale in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, and a personal viewing is highly recommended to appreciate what lovely condition it is in. I am also willing to ship it anywhere in the UK (subject to extra carriage charges). Please contact me for further details.

This is a traditional black and white photographic print which I am selling as part of a limited edition of only 50 copies. It shows the old telephone boxes next to the Post Office in Fitzalan Square in Sheffield on a murky day in October 1983, with Hyde Park Flats in the distance.
This is a completely traditional (analogue) photographic print. It was shot on 35mm Ilford Pan F black and white film, which I processed myself. It was then hand-printed by me on Agfa Record Rapid fibre-based paper for archival permanence. The print has a natural warm tone from the chloro-bromide paper, which I feel suits the subject matter.
Each print measures 16″x12″ including borders (the actual image area is approx. 15½”x11″), and each one is signed and numbered by myself.
Copies cost £75.00 each (including postage within the UK). Please contact me to order a copy.
The luxurious Girona album was handmade in England by Spicer Hallfield – the UK’s largest wedding album manufacturer before they went out of business. It was one of their top-of-the-range Elizabethan albums, all of which were bookbound albums with heavyweight slip-in leaves.
The album measures approx 12″x11¾” externally and has a padded grey leather cover, with a decorative silver chain pattern in the centre. It has 20 black slip-in leaves (ie. 40 sides) with grey burl edges to hold up to 40 9½” x 9½” prints. Prints simply slide in – no adhesives required. This makes it a very simple matter to assemble the album in the first place, or swop individual prints in just a matter of seconds. It also makes it an ideal sample album for when making an impression is really important. It also comes with its own presentation box.
Although designed primarily for weddings, the album is equally suitable for other types of photography – such as portraiture, event, still life or product shots.
The album is new, and I have only one example of it. I am selling it at just £50.00.
Please contact me as soon as possible if you are interested in this album. It is for sale in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.
I am happy to send the album by post, but please be advised that (due to its substantial weight) carriage charges will be quite high, and will be in addition to the price above.
See here for details of the other handmade wedding albums, or traditional wedding albums with overlays that I also have for sale at discounted prices.
